The Crossbow Tower is an AOE shooter with high attack speed and upgradeable blasting area. The Crossbow Tower can be obtained at random through the Outpost, in Challenges Reward Packs, and through Fortune Slots. Obtaining the Card is guaranteed through the purchase of several special limited time offers when they appear in the game. These include the Starter Kit (x1) and two of the Epic Booster Packs (x1 for each). Furthermore, one copy is available upon completion of the Easy Bird Invasion with all 48 Fleurs-de-Lis.

Abilities and Upgrades[]
Battle Upgrades can be improved after being placed on the battle field. Upgrading abilities during a battle costs Mana. As your tower increases in level, your abilities and upgrades can also increase in power, but at a higher Mana cost. Not all abilities change or upgrade with level.
Both of Crossbow Tower's abilities are useable at card level 1.

Defensive Strategy[]
Although the Magic Damage of Crossbow Tower is not as powerful as damage from other AOE towers (Mortar Towers, Pirate Towers, etc.), its high Attack Rate delivers consistent hits to make up for this. The features that make Crossbow Tower stand out among other Rare Towers are its high number of Max Uses and its relatively low Mana Cost. Furthermore, the Crossbow Tower has few weaknesses outside of swarms of magic-resistant enemies.
Like other AOE towers, Crossbow Towers paired with Slowdown Towers can create a formidable choke point. Unlike the Poison Tower, Crossbow Tower's attacks deliver full damage on contact, so it can be placed at either the start or end of the battlefield.
